The Banque de Développement Local (BDL) is an Algerian public bank, established in 1985, specialising in financing the national economy and supporting local development.
With an extensive network of branches spread across the entire national territory, currently comprising 183 branches, the BDL maintains a widespread presence in the service of citizens and businesses alike.
The BDL is the only financial institution in Algeria to have a structured network of eight (08) specialised branches carrying out a wealth management activity with a strong social and economic dimension, namely: pawnbroking (gold jewellery only).
