Our mission:
an international network for pawnbroking and social lending

The International Association of Collateral Loan and Social Credit Institutions operates with the aim of promoting, protecting, and developing social credit, with particular focus on its pawnbroking activities. Its work is based on the principles of responsibility, solidarity, and value preservation, while respecting both tradition and the sector´s ongoing evolution
In accordance with Article 3 of the current Bylaws, the Association pursues the following fundamental objectives:

Promotion of Collateral Loan

To promote pawnbroking and social credit on an international level, by encouraging the establishment of new institutions and supporting the development and strengthening of existing ones, in compliance with national regulations and the ethical principles that characterize the sector.

Ethical standards

To represent institutions whose core activity is the safekeeping of clients’ collateral, ensuring it can be preserved and reused over time as a means of financial support, in line with the principles of financial responsibility and the traditional Christian values of pawnbroking.

Exchange of expertise and innovation

To facilitate the exchange of experiences, knowledge, innovations, and technologies in operational, legal, economic, and sociological fields, while encouraging dialogue among member organizations and supporting continuous professional development.
